Support


The Havering School Improvement Services’ ICT Team are able to provide bespoke support for a range of aspects including:-

>  ICT Teaching and Learning and Home:School Engagement – Advice on embedding ICT across the curriculum, having recently launched ‘Switched On ICT’, the new ICT schemes of work with Rising Stars Publishers which is aimed at embedding exciting ICT opportunities across the curriculum

>  Support to develop a parent/pupil-friendly website and learning platform to aid home:school engagement and teaching and learning, as well as improving whole-school management.

>  ICT Strategic Support – Including Self Review Framework, Achieving ICT Mark, Developing a Third Millenium Vision, ICT Action Planning, Effective Monitoring of ICT and Support for Ofsted

>  ICT Continuing Professional Development – Make best use of existing equipment to impact on teaching and learning and assessment for learning through first-class training on aspects including interactive whiteboards, visualisers, Early Years’ ICT, filmmaking, podcasting, iPods/iPads, tablets and animation

>  ICT Infrastructure – Ensure sustainability of purchasing and plan for future improvement through whole-school ‘ICT healthchecks’ – Help when considering the purchase of netbooks, laptops, tablets, managed wireless, digital signage, digital cameras etc.

>  Safeguarding/E-safety – Make sure that you are ‘Ofsted ready’ through training sessions for pupils, staff, parents/carers, governors, as well as help to develop an effective eSafety strategy
